Simply put, coconut coffee is coffee with a coconut flavor. In other words, the coconut milk flavors the coffee while it still serves as the main flavor. This coconut coffee, which combines rich and flavorful coconut milk with the usual flavor of coffee, will surely captivate you.
Coconut milk is one of the frequently used components in food processing and beverage preparation in Vietnam. Coconut milk can be found in casseroles, ready meals, desserts, drinks, etc. Coconut coffee has a great appealing flavor thanks to the unusual combination of two ingredients. Now it is simple to find this coffee in beverage stores. However, by knowing how to prepare and create it at home, you can enjoy it whenever and wherever you want. It is also a good idea to serve it to your family members from time to time.
Let’s make one at home
Simply use the automatic coffee maker and press the button to brew 30ml of espresso. All you have to do is wait for a regular espresso. You can make coffee with the filter if you don’t have a machine: Add coffee powder to the filter, then fill it with about 30ml of hot water and cover it.
However, it should be pointed out that espresso plays a crucial role in producing a cup of traditional Vietnamese coconut coffee. People frequently use commercial coffee makers suitable for cafes. Investing in an automatic coffee maker is a smart decision if you are making it at home. You can also use coffee that has been filtered, but the flavor won’t be as strong and the taste won’t be exactly like the original.
By mixing, you can make coconut coffee. It involves using a blender to mix drinks. Before adding other ingredients, place the ice cream in the blender. According to a warning, you must break the ice first if the blender blade is dull. The quality of the coconut cup of coffee will improve with a sharper blade, as it will be thinner. You must measure the ice in the glass that will later contain the brewed coffee in order to get the right amount and to avoid the mixture being too liquid or too thick. For a cup of coconut coffee, use a cup of ice. Grated coconut and boiling water can be used instead of canned coconut milk. It is difficult for you to modify this to your preferred taste as it is very manual and the mixing quality depends on various factors.
Mix the ice cream with 40 ml of condensed milk and 60 ml of coconut milk. Slowly increase the grinding speed until the materials are combined with snow-like smoothness, then stop the machine.
Pour 30ml of the freshly brewed coffee blend into a shaker. Since the main purpose of shaking is to produce bubbles, you can pour it into any bottle if you don’t have a special shaker. Shake the coffee, then pour it into a glass mug. Gradually pour the coconut mixture into a coffee cup and top with a few dry coconut pieces for garnish.
