I really like coffee, so much so that I’m recognized at my three closest Starbucks stores where they have a pretty good idea of what I’m going to order.
Right now it’s my favorite ‘butterbeer’ inspired latte, but with cold mornings I don’t always feel like going to the nearest store.
In theory, making coffee at home is the easiest option, but when you’re used to a certain type of drink, it can be difficult to recreate without a machine.
So I got my hands on the new Dolce Gusto Infinissima Touch coffee machine to see if it could do the trick.
You can buy it here.
It was really easy to put together and I found a really creamy froth to top off a drink.
I tried the Oat Flat White and found it a little runny when creamed, but if you like skimmed milk, this is probably the right texture for you.
Personally, I should add a little oat milk to even out the consistency to my liking.
It’s quite bitter but you can add sugars or syrup to it according to your personal taste.
I also tried the Starbucks Blonde Roast espresso pod, which I found to be much better and great for making iced lattes at home.
If you like water-based coffee drinks, this is a great option for you, and for those who don’t like coffee granules, this seems like a great option.

It’s a really easy to use machine, and the touch setting allows you to effortlessly select the right amount of water for your drink (which is clearly marked on the pod box).
It also heats up very quickly, with virtually no waiting for your hot drink to come out.
I was quite impressed and will probably use it with drinks I sort milk for as I like something quite creamy.
