Over a year after the start of the pandemic, I can confidently say that I have now become a master of easy coffee drinks. One of the brands that came to my mind when researching ready-made caffeinated drinks was Emma Chamberlain’s Company Chamberlain’s coffee and its popular cold brew recipe.
If you haven’t seen Emma Youtube videos Already, the 19-year-old star shares candid moments of her life in vlogs that are often dominated by coffee. Before starting her day, the influencer turned entrepreneur will always brew a cup of Joe. His love for coffee led to the launch of his own brand in 2019. The company, which suffered a rebranding last year, is praised for its convenient brewed coffee bags, durable, photo-worthy packaging sets of goods and more.
To get a better feel for Chamberlain coffee, I tried the brand’s infused bags myself, following Emma’s famous cold brew recipe which has racked up over four million views on YouTube. Read on for my honest thoughts.

What you will need
1. Place the infused sachets in a glass jar and fill them with water.
2. Leave the jar in the refrigerator overnight.
3. Pour the cold infusion into a glass and cover with milk and cream.
I’m neither a barista nor a coffee connoisseur, but I have had my fair share of coffee (you’ll find a cafe in almost every other city block in Seoul). The best thing about these infused coffee bags is their convenience. All you need to do to make a cold brew is leave it in water overnight. If you fancy a hot cup of coffee, just pour in hot water just like you would a tea bag.
As a light coffee drinker myself, I like that the bag makes a light brew, instead of a strong espresso-like drink. On the days when I desperately need a stronger shot of caffeine, I’ll add an extra bag to create a deeper flavor. These single serve bags are available in various blends to suit your preferences. During a regular working day, I like to recharge my batteries with the Social dog. To accompany a weekend brunch, I would go with the Carefree cat. Overall, these bags of infused coffee have been a pantry staple during my months-long WFH days.
