Coheed and Cambria Announce New Gourmet Coffee Brand

In collaboration with J Gursey Coffee Roasters, New York progressive rockers Coheed and Cambria advertised their own brand of coffee in the form of “Coheed and Cambria Coffee Roasters”.

As avowed coffee lovers, the group worked directly with the team at J Gursey Coffee Roasters to create custom blends that reflect the nuances of the characters that make up ‘The Amory Wars’, the sci-fi concept arc sprawling that ties together nearly every Coheed album.“Said an official press release.

The ad goes on to say, “Discerning fans will recognize “The Knowledge and The Beast” as the classified codenames of The Amory Wars’ two most notable characters, Coheed and Cambria Kilgannon. “The Knowledge” (Cambria), is a soft and delicate blend of light and dark roast coffees from the African/Ethiopian/South American regions. Its counterpart, “The Beast” (Coheed) is “Coffee with a bite”. The robust medium/dark roast with a hint of espresso comes from the Africa/Papa ​​New Guinea/South America and Central America regions, and is cloud roasted at a drop temperature of 460° Fahrenheit.
